The Jupiter JTS500 is a Bb tenor saxophone built with developing players in mind. Its brass body and neck carry a gold lacquer finish, giving the horn a classic look that suits school band, jazz ensemble and private lessons alike.

The key layout includes a high F# key, which lets you reach the top of the range without relying solely on alternate fingerings. The right-hand mechanism is designed for comfortable fingering, which helps when building technique through scales and etudes. Stainless steel springs support durable key action, and plastic tone boosters on the pads are intended to aid resonance.

At around 8 pounds, the JTS500 is manageable to carry to rehearsals and lessons, a practical point for younger or newer players handling a full-size tenor. Its sturdy construction is suited to regular practice, whether you’re working through blues riffs or classical studies.
