Boosey & Hawkes Regent Bb Clarinet

The Boosey & Hawkes Regent is a student Bb clarinet, a sensible choice for beginners and for players starting out in a school band or woodwind programme. Bb is the standard pitch for most clarinet tuition and ensemble music, so it fits straight into lessons and group playing.

The plastic body suits a newer player. Plastic stands up well to daily practice and the handling that comes with learning to assemble and look after a clarinet. The keys are nickel-plated, and the ergonomic design supports comfortable playing during longer practice sessions and rehearsals.

The Regent offers a warm, focused tone with reliable intonation and response. These qualities help when a student is learning to pitch notes accurately and play in tune with others.
