Thomann FL1000

The Thomann FL-1000 CE is a student flute built around a silver-plated nickel silver body, a practical choice for players starting out or settling into regular lessons. Its layout is set up for comfort and ease while technique is still developing.

The closed keys don’t require fingers to seal open tone holes, so beginners can concentrate on breath control, embouchure and reading music rather than finger placement. The offset G key sits in a more natural position for the left hand, which many players find relaxes the hand during long practice sessions. An E mechanism is fitted to help with the high E in the third octave, a note that can otherwise be awkward to produce cleanly. Italian Pisoni pads cover the tone holes.

The flute comes with a protective case and a cleaning rod, so it can travel to lessons and rehearsals and be wiped out after each session. It suits daily practice at home, school band and early ensemble playing.
