Fender CD-60S Acoustic Guitar Dreadnought

The Fender CD-60S is a full-size dreadnought acoustic guitar that pairs a solid spruce top with laminated mahogany back and sides. That combination gives a warm, balanced tone with plenty of projection, which suits the dreadnought’s traditional role as a strumming guitar while still leaving room for fingerstyle playing.

Comfort is a big part of this model. Fender’s Easy-to-Play neck profile and the rolled edges on the walnut fingerboard make fretting more comfortable, which helps when you’re still building finger strength or settling in for a long practice session. Beginners will find it approachable, and intermediate players have room to keep developing their technique on it.

Under the top, scalloped X-bracing helps the guitar resonate and keeps the sound well balanced across the strings. The CD-60S fits easily into everyday playing, whether you’re working through chord changes at home, accompanying a singalong round the campfire or playing a short set at a coffeehouse open mic.
