Roland FP30 BK Digital Piano

The Roland FP-30 BK is a compact 88-key digital piano in a black finish, built around Roland’s PHA-4 Standard keyboard action. The full-length keyboard is weighted, so it suits beginners building piano technique as well as experienced players who want weighted keys at home rather than a lighter keyboard.

Alongside its piano tones, the FP-30 offers a range of other instrument voices, and you can layer sounds together to add colour to a piece. Bluetooth connectivity links the piano with music apps, which is useful for lesson software or play-along practice. A built-in metronome helps keep your timing steady, and the recording functions let you capture a run-through and listen back to hear what needs work.

Two headphone outputs mean a teacher and student, or two family members, can play and listen together without filling the house with sound. Because the instrument is compact and portable, it fits comfortably into a home practice space and can also be taken to small performance venues.
