Kala Makala Baritone Ukulele

The Kala Makala MK-B is a baritone ukulele with laminated mahogany top, back and sides in a satin natural finish. It has the largest body and longest neck of the common ukulele sizes, with a 20″ (about 510 mm) scale. Guitarists often find that layout familiar, which makes it a natural first uke if you already play guitar.

Mahogany gives the MK-B a warm, mellow voice with clear highs. Many players note that it has more presence than they expect from an instrument this size. That fuller sound suits relaxed strumming at home and also works well when you are writing songs or adding a ukulele part to a recording.
