Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV Guitar Amp

The Fender Hot Rod Deluxe IV is a 40-watt, all-tube 1×12 guitar combo built for players who want one amp that covers clean and overdriven sounds. Three 12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of 6L6 power tubes drive the circuit. The Normal, Drive and More Drive settings take you from sparkling cleans to gritty, aggressive overdrive without changing amps.

The single 12-inch Celestion A-type speaker is voiced for smooth highs, warm mids and solid lows, which helps your guitar cut through a band mix with clarity. The spring reverb and preamp circuitry have been redesigned for clearer note definition and a smoother, richer ambience. That makes the reverb useful for adding space to clean parts as well as leads.

The cabinet is lightweight pine with a black finish. Ivory knobs on a black control panel make the settings easy to read on a dim stage. It suits gigging guitarists and recording players, and it works well as a platform for effects pedals.
