Jupiter JTB700 Trombone

The Jupiter JTB700 is a full-size Bb tenor trombone for beginning and intermediate players. It suits a student’s first serious instrument as well as a player moving up from a starter horn. It has a brass body, a.500″ bore and an 8″ bell. That combination is aimed at a warm, centered sound that works in concert ensembles and on the marching field.

The slide is where a young trombonist’s instrument takes the most wear. The JTB700 uses a nickel-silver outer slide for smooth action and better resistance to dents from everyday knocks in rehearsal rooms and band buses. A one-piece leadpipe keeps the response direct, so notes speak readily as players build air support and slide technique.

Maintenance is straightforward too. The water key has an extended lever, making it easy to clear condensation quickly between pieces without fumbling.
