Quinto 11″ LP805-AW Giovanni Galaxy Series

The LP Giovanni Galaxy Series 11″ quinto is the smallest, highest-pitched drum in a conga set, the one that usually carries lead lines, improvised calls and fills over the steadier conga and tumba parts. At 11 inches, it suits players who want a quinto to add to an existing set or to anchor the top of a new one.

The shell is North American ash in a natural finish, so the wood itself is on show rather than covered with paint or wrap. It sits comfortably in Latin percussion settings and can also add hand-drum color to jazz and contemporary music, whether you’re working out parts in rehearsal, playing on stage or recording.
