Kawai CN29 Digital Piano

The Kawai CN29 is a digital piano for home players who care most about how the keys respond. Its Responsive Hammer III action spans 88 weighted keys with ivory-touch surfaces, and a triple-sensor design tracks each keystroke for precise control over dynamics and repeated notes. If you’re moving up from an unweighted keyboard, or want something that feels closer to an acoustic piano, the action is the place to start.

The piano tone uses Kawai’s Progressive Harmonic Imaging technology and is based on the Shigeru Kawai SK-EX concert grand. There are 19 instrument voices in total, and the speaker system and motherboard were developed with Onkyo. An OLED display makes settings easy to read.

For learning and practice, the CN29 has built-in lesson books, including Chopin waltzes and Alfred courses. Bluetooth MIDI and USB connect it to apps, recording software and other devices. The compact design suits a living room or practice space.
