Thomann TAS-180 Alto Saxophone

The Thomann TAS-180 is an alto saxophone designed for students and beginners, so it suits a first instrument for lessons, home practice or a school band. Alto is a common starting point on saxophone, and this one is set up with newer players in mind.

It has a brass body with a clear lacquered finish, and its tone is described as bright and well balanced. That works for practice on your own and for ensemble playing. The keywork is ergonomically designed for comfortable handling and smooth playability. This helps when you are still building finger technique and hand position.

The saxophone comes with a mouthpiece and a case. You have the mouthpiece to start playing, and the case keeps the instrument protected between lessons and rehearsals.
